I have two friends and one relative struggling with lengthly post surgery setbacks, and I foun a song that swems to come to the forefront of my mind, when I am struggling to be patient about things in my life.
So instead of just calling or texting them as I didn’t want to bother them if they were resting, I decided to share the song with them.
No I didn’t go to their homes and serenade them from tgeir front porch, but I did use technology and quickly record and text it to them just to hopefully lift their spirits.
The song was written by Mark Greer many moons ago. I had heard him sing it at a mission week at our Church, when Fr Luke Zimmer was ministering and blessing the congregation back in the early 1980s. I believe the song title is “Don’t Give Up On What Your Doing”, I am not for sure as I have the cassette tape but I used it so much half of the words are rubbed off. 🥴
I hope the little song lifts your heart as well.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
