The struggle between allowing Peace to reign within me, when chaos seems to be surrounding all four corners of the world, has been heightened during this time of the wee hours of the morning, and truly the call to pray and praise Our Lord, for me anyway, has been magnified a hundred-fold, this July, to the point I cannot sleep until I answer His Call.
When I was younger, I would question the call to prayer and fight to ignore the request.
Now that I am older, though I still question many things, I no longer question nor ignore His Call to pray for I know God is persistent, and Peace will come, if I heed His Call to pray.
It is still a fight to work on being drawn nearer than before to Him, as the battle to keep me from doing so seems to intensifiy at night, but oh what a sweet blessing it is to know by just uttering His Name, the action will bring about a wave of Peace that washes over my entire being. God is so Good!
