Oh my! The fresh smell of lime zest is transporting me to literally a peaceful place in my heart.
I find as I zest, I am breathing deeper, slower, and I am feeling so very calm, even though I am having to use a bit more pressure as I zest the older limes, my shoulders are not migrating upward to my ears, but still resting comfortable relaxed where they should.
As I noticed my relaxed demeanor, I looked up and caught my image in the reflection of my oven window. I was surprised to witness a very calm and relaxed smile on my face. Without any forth-thought, I closed my eyes and took a very deep breath in. I could feel the juicy scent wafting into my nostrils, gently drinking in the lovely aroma. In my mind, I followed the smell, and visualized it swirling around inside my head, could deeply feel the lovely sweet and tangy smell filling up my each lung, slowly flowing inside and surrounding my heart.
My mouth waters as the citrus flavor permeates throughout my entire body.
The clean fresh scent fills my entire kitchen. It just wraps around me like a fresh, cleaned, cool, soft bed sheet, gently comforting my very soul.
Just another Blessed Creation to be aware of that has been created to enhance every fiber of our being inside and out with Peace.
Thank you Jesus for this moment to be open to all my senses in such simple way. Thank you for placing apart of Your Peace and Love in Creation.
