My dearest Mother embraced being a wife and her Gift of Motherhood and Grandmotherhood. Though she did not have the best role model for a Mother, she embraced Our Lord’s Mother as her own, just as Jesus said to do before he died for us on the Cross at Calvary.
My beloved Mom miscarried her first born, and lost her fourth baby at four months, but with a hard working husband and three of us 10 and under, she found comfort in knowing Our Blessed Mother knew the pain of losing a child, and through Christ and His Precious Mother Mary assisted my grieving Mom. Leading her to Calvary so her Son could mend of her scattered heart. It is there she found her strength and fortitude to go on. She was such a good and loving Mom that I longed to be a wife and also prayed for the Gift of Motherhood as well.
Little did I know how much joy and sorrow the gifts came with, but I could not be more grateful. Through it all, just like my Momma, Our Blessed Mother has scooped be up and laid me at the foot of her Son’s Cross to be healed from the struggles, strive and loss, also placing before Him in the Tabernacle reminding me to Him All the Glory and Honor.
Thank you Jesus for the Gift of a Mother’s Love as pure as your own.
Happy Mother’s Day to All Mothers in the World, and if you ever need an ear that knows all to well what it is like to be concerned for a child or yours, through Christ, His Mother can offer you understanding, Peace, and will gently draw you ever closure to her Son, Jesus Christ, where you will be consoled right where you are at.
