Last Sunday Night, I was moved to find this rendition of Psalm 72 by a wonderfully, spirit- filled composer, Chris Muglia.
The word Psalm means: sacred song or poem used in worship, and I for one have always been drawn to the Book of Psalms. Go figure!😉
As a Mother, I was drawn to tthe Book of Psalms, and so very blessed to have cantored Responsorial Psalms for over three decades, but my best use for them by far has been,, when singing them to my children and grandbabies. Nothing more precious to sing a fussy baby to sleep with the Word of God.
This past Sunday evening, I was gathering the music up for the following Saturday Vigil Mass, and was not pleased with the melodies for the next weekend’s Responsorisl Psalm, so I went searching for one and, by God’s Grace came upon, Chris Muglia’s youtube video for the 3nd Sunday of Advent, Psalm 72: “Justice shall flourish in His Time, and fullness of Peace forever.” Just four measures in, I felt each note slowly surrounding my heart gently enveloping it with such a lovely melody. This composition has been giving me such Hope, all week long, and at this moment in time I became more aware now than ever, every move we make here on earth affects so much more than our little place that we occupy here on earth.😇🥰
Happy Advent Season!

That is so beautiful – oh that we all had the heart of David, God’s Psalmist!
