My life has been full of miracles. Big ones and little ones, but never more than in my darkest hours. Which seems strange to attest to, but maybe, when meeting my life challenges, I was more aware of the most and awesome inspiring miracles given because I was in need of them..
Every step of the way to today, I have been given the strength of perseverance, and through a miracle, I have been given the boost needed to dig deeper, and find the Faith and drive to get up off my pity pot and move forward, even if it be just a few steps.
Oh, I have had my Faith shaken, my life turned on its ear more than I can count. I have fallen on my knees in despair, and endured the loss of the closest ones to me, yet the Lord has seen fit to send others to be beside me, as I found myself in need of support. Nothing short of a miracle every time.
For the past two years, I have worked on being present in each moment, and being aware of where I am at physically, emotionally and spiritually. Sometimes, its been a battle to stay in the present as much as I can on any given day to whomever is placed in my path, but its a daily goal. Sometimes, I totally blow it and fall short, totally missing the mark, and getting frustrated with whomever, but this gives me the knowledge, that I am a work in progress, and have a looking way to go.LOL!
But there are signs, of Hope in my efforts to experience each moment as it comes.
Today, has been one of those days. Filled with meeting people where they are at in the present moment, and seeing a miracle unfold.
First thing this morning, I finally was able to meet with an interior house painter to get a estimate for a few rooms that I had been needing to get painted for two years. When the painter drove up, he had an acronym on his van above his business log. +J.M.J. The names of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary, Joseph. A sign, he and his family consecreated their busy to the Holy Family for God’s Greater Glory as they earned a living. This acronym was given to me by my maternal grandmother to use when I sent a letter or card as a prayer for the one I sent it too. The painter was very devote in Faith, and our conversation was indeed anointed. What a miracle meeting.
The day of miracles did not stop there. A lady stopped by and asked if she could have or by three cedar stumps I had in the front yard for her kids could use them for seating around their swinger, and as we got to talking, she shared that her husband dead a yr ago, and the next thing I did as inviting her to Mass this Sat. Turns out she is of the same Faith. No coincidence.
Bottomline:
If we work on being in the moment in where ever we are and whatever we are doing, the Lord will make sure to guide all who He wishes for us to help or those who might help us as we continue of our journey.
So keep your mind, eyes and ears open for the miracles being given to us in any given present moment.W
