Blessings the Christmas Monday and again Happy New Year.
Our Lord came down to show us how to “Forgive” and “Love” our neighbor as ourselves for at the time there were 613 mitzvahs (Jewish Laws) and counting.
Why so many laws?
At first to help the less educated and protect them.
But as we all know with power, ego and greed can get out of hand.
When this hoes unchecked, we see a plethora of laws being created and enforced, confusing, instead of helping the masses.
Many become so weakened they fall into submission, looking toward law makers for direction without question.
Its like putting the live frog in pot of cold water and turning up the heat slowly.
Thank the Lord for coming down to correct us.
Praise the Lord at this time that we still are freely allowed to celebrate and share why Jesus came down to earth.
Let us go out and love enough to be the example God is calling us to be in this world.
