I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to squeak a note out this evening with my sore throat and head congestion, but upon diligent redosing with natural God-given remedies and actually sleeping, my sore throat subsided and my congestion abated long enough to praise the Lord in song as much as I was able. Now my heart is now as full as my nose again. LOL! But praising the Lord lifted my soul beyond any bit of discomfort an ole’ earthly cold can muster up.
Being a wife and mother for most of my life, I have always enjoyed caring for my family. I relished being able to meet their needs when they fell ill or needed me. I do not recall ever planning me time or yearning for a girls’ night. Being a wife and a mom had been my vocation, and I would not have traded it for any other life, but found it very interesting to be able to focus on healing my cold without needing to tend to several others at the same it.
This Bible Verse Isaiah 12:2: “Cry out with JOY and GLADNESS for among you is the Great and Holy One of Israel!” is what we must keep in the forefront of our hearts and minds in order to keep Our souls lifted up to the Lord in these times of intense chaos threatening to shake us off our Firm Foundation.
Though the chaos seems loud, Sing His Praises louder. For all evil flees at the sound of many glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ๐ ๐ถ Amen ๐ถ
