The Gospel in today’s Readings of Mark 12:38-44 and 12:41-44
Talk about a parallel narrative for our present day and time. Wow!
In Markis Gospel, Jesus is warning the masses to be aware and look beyond the facade of the ones who are placed before them. He points out that many placed in positions of authority are not looking out for everyone’s best interest and are not who they claim to be.
It amazes me how the inspired Word of God holds great Wisdom for everyone in every moment in time. I believe that last statement holds with it my naivety of just how inspired the Bible real is. π
Pondering on my statement; the common denominator is “everyone” (humans).
It is understandable why the evil one and his followers are so hell-bent on trying to destroy our history.
This gives me renewed Hope! Hop that history does not bear repeating, if we get back to God and following His laws.
It doesn’t take any degree to go back to the beginning and see h of all evil is listening to the rhetoric that we can become our own god.
Make sense why seeing the Apple ekectronic Icon symbol gave me a sick feeling deep in my gut. My adult children always poo pooed my deep distress over seeing the icon.
I love fresh untainted apples, but to this day, I still get the chills every time I see the computer emblem. I just turn it around or place a blessed Saint Michael the Archangel sticker over it, if I am able and say a Hail Mary with the Flame of Love Prayer to shake the very uneasy distress the image may bring on.
So I say, just don’t take a bite out of the electronic apple. π
Praise the Lord and give Him all the Glory!
He will never abuse your praise, nor ever take it away.
Someone who loves of this much and proved His Love for us time and again deserves all our Trust. He deserves all our praise. He deserves all our love.
