The Gospel in today’s Readings of Mark 12:38-44 and 12:41-44
Talk about a parallel narrative for our present day and time. Wow!
In Mark’s Gospel, Jesus is warning the masses to be aware and look beyond the facade of the ones who are placed before them. He points out that many placed in positions of authority are not looking out for everyone’s best interest and are not who they claim to be.
It amazes me how the inspired Word of God holds great Wisdom for everyone in every moment in time. I believe that last statement holds with it my naivety of just how inspired the Bible real is. 😉
Pondering on my statement; the common denominator is “everyone” (humans).
It is understandable why the evil one and his followers are so hell-bent on trying to destroy our history.
This gives me renewed Hope! Hope that history does not bear repeating if we get back to God and following His Laws.
It doesn’t take a college degree to go back to the beginning and see how Adam and Eve believed the rhetoric that one can become our own god, and here we are today hearing the same false claim, we can be a god just by taking a bite out of a piece of fruit, take a drug that will wipe away all ailments, and we will be invincible💪.
I love fresh untainted apples, but to this day, I still get the chills every time I see the apple computer emblem. To me, it’s blatantly in your face, yet many ignore the sign, shrug it off, and proudly display it, not realizing they are a walking advertisement for the evil one’s rhetoric.
So I say, don’t take a bite out of the electronic apple. 🙏
Praise the Lord and give Him all the Glory!
He will never abuse your praise, nor ever take it away.
Someone who loves us this much and proved His Love for us time and again deserves all our Trust.
He deserves all our praise. He deserves all our love.
All for the Greater Glory of You My God. All for the Greater Glory of You ✝️
