“The Beauty of the Three Falls”

Fall is my most favorite season of the year. We can see firsthand how nature shifts from abundance of sunshine and  produce.  Squash, potatoes, and pumpkins are ripe for harvest.

The leaves on the foliage and trees can be seen turning from deep greens to vibrant yellows, oranges and reds. Apples are coming into season, as cold winter Leafy Greens are being sown into replenished soil.

There is a nip in the air that is a welcome reprieve from the abnormally hot summer this year, and thank the Lord for being ever present in  all His spectacular earthly creations.

But this is not the type of fall I am moved to write about.

The three (3) falls I am compelled to address are the three (3) times our Lord Jesus Christ fell.  Our Lord, the Son of God struggled to carry all our sins with his brutally flesh torn, bleeding, bruised, beaten body. On His abused  shoulders, He moved, step by step, being whipped, pushed, prodded, ridiculed, and spat upon, every step of the way. A journey carved out only for the Savior of the world, our Lord Jesus Christ.

On that journey, He fell because of the heavy burden of all our sins, not once but three (3), separate and distinct moments on His salvific journey, He fell.

Each moment holds with it a love beyond human understanding. A love so pure so Holy, so life-saving, we can only fall down in adoration and worship, laying all we have to offer for Our Lord and Savior in humble supplication.

The beauty of the three falls give us a glimpse of how heavy a burden the sins of the world are, and is no less a testament to how much Mercy and Love God is willing give us, if we dare to take off our masks of deception and bow down and worship the greatest lover of  our souls.

This week, especially the three (3) days before the 31st, evil seeks to destroy many souls. Please join me in asking Archangel St Michael to lead the Holy Angels and Saints to protect all the souls they seek to destroy this week and every day moving forward until the end of time. Amen
