All Saint’s Day November 1, 2024 Psalm 24:1 🎶

If we have been given hearts with invisible heart strings linking us to Our Lord, and we told in Mark 12:28b-34:

“One of the scribes came to Jesus and asked Him,

“Which is the first of all commandments?” Jesus replied. “The first is this: Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.”

(Though the scribe was looking for only one (1) commandment (law) for in the time of Jesus there were not only ten (10) commandments, but also 613 mitzvahs (Jewish laws), not including addendum to the 613.)

Jesus gave a second answer as both commandments go hand in hand.

“The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Just as God’s Love is eternal, the love we freely give and receive from one another is from God. This love knows no boundary lines. Our connection with our loved ones here on earth never dies. Death does not severe heart strings. The love grows beyond bounds. It continues and blossoms more abundantly as our loved ones are united with God, the ultimate lover of our souls. It is a gift that continues.

For us, Hope is the gift we receive, when our loved ones depart, if  we continue to choose Christ, accept Him as Our Lord and Savior. When we embrace this knowledge, love will be felt deeper than before and Hope will extinguish grief.

This Hope cones from realizing we will be reunited with the Lover of our Eternal Souls and those who loved us and went be for us.

We have the abundance of Holy Angels, Saints and loved ones waiting for us to invite them with us each and every time we pray, so there will always be two or three gathered in His Name as we pray.

May all the Holy Angels and Saints be invited with you each and every time you fall on your knees in Adoration and Prayer.
