Day in and day out, Our Lord asks us to live in the present moment and to be His Hands and His Feet.
The evil one knows this, and some days it seems he is at every turn, slithering in, trying to redirect our focus to what we neglected to do in the past, or to look ahead to what we have no control over in the future.
We must call on the Lord for direction, not just when we wake up in the morning, while blessing our daily bread, or just before we lay down to sleep, but with every breath we take, and every move we are able to make. We need to turn all our movements into an active prayer of Thanksgiving. Each voluntary and involuntary action of living our lives for God’s Greater Glory has the ability to be a prayer if we are aware of how precious our life is ask our Lord Jesus Christ to bless us every step of the way.
May the Lord Bless us all the days of our lives,” as well as our families and our children’s children. AMEN π
