Music has the ability to touch one’s soul so deeply by rhythmically wrapping around our wounded heart and pulling it safely into the arms of our Lord and Savior.
Instead of allowing ourselves to be overtaken by the unexpected, we are called to “Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord” in spite of what we are experiencing in this life.
No coincidence this song, “What Would Jesus Do?”by Adam Gregory was placed before me tonight.
I was so moved by the lyrics and melody, I couldn’t stop singing it. Each time I came to the end of the song, I felt the tightness around my heart loosen a little more, releasing the stranglehold the current state of affairs our country and world was having on my heart.
This beautiful song is a testimony of how music can heal one’s heart.
