Take Notes!

Being widowed well before one might be inclined to expect, I know all too well how moving forward without your husband, your best friend, your soul mate, your confidant  and  father of your children can cut you off at your knees

On Saturday, July 13, 2024, at a peaceful campaign rally in Pennsylvania, USA, a man, who believes in; America, we the people, and freedom for all law abiding citizens, was bringing together people, who believed in the same values in support of his move to lead this country in a different direction.

This man’s family was home supporting him as they continued to keep their home fires burning.

As they watched from home,  they saw head of their household be shot at, then rise up, still committed  to standing for non-violence, and letting the attendees know he was not fatally wounded. This was not the first attempt to take this man out, and his wife and family knew each time their husband and father stepped onto a platform, another attempt or worse was a real possibility.  Yet, they hoped and prayed for his safety. On Saturday this man and his family’s fears came into fruition, but his life was spared, but not without the loss of life for others in attendants, which weighs just as heavy on this man and his family.

What man and his family on earth would care so much about the direction their country, and it’s citizens are being driven toward?

I will tell you. A man who has a faith-filled wife at home standing on a Firm Foundation, and literally not only putting her trust in her husband, but  placing him in front of Jesus at the foot of the Cross, right next to His Beloved Mother Mary, who was given to us by Jesus himself at that same Cross, and who knows all to well how hate can attempt to destroy a loved one.

My heart and prayers go out to the men and their families who were shot, killed, or in the hospital fighting for their life.

Hatred leads to reckless destruction.
