The Octave of Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday for Jesus’ Passion, Death and Resurrection including His Divine Mercy are the totality of Easter. He is waiting to pour His Mercy over anyone who asks for it.
This weekend, we are called to celebrate the ultimate gift of Jesus’ Passion, Death and Resurrection, as it is united with His Mercy of this 8th day of Easter.
Jesus saw a vessel on earth in Sr Faustina Kowalska. He chose to instructed and explained to her how to bring about the fullness of the Octave of Easter to all, and further explained the need to share the understanding that every day He is ready and waiting to shower us with His Mercy and Grace.
Wow! as I was moved to share this, rain and hail poured down hard, and as I finished typing what is above, it all stopped.
This moment in time, where in nature I was given an audio visual through Gid’s Creation, reminding me of how Jesus’ Mercy is ready and waiting to pour over and through us, if we are willing to pause, right where we are at, especially at the 3pm hour, the hour he died for all, and remember His Loving Sacrifice by reflecting, connecting, and giving Him thanks and praise.
He asks us for a hour. Can we give Him even a moment of our time.
Hand over all our concerns, complaints as well as a moment to receive our gratitude. He wants it all.
Amen!
