Butterfly

This passed Saturday, October 22, 2022, we remembered my Mother in Law’s Birthday at Vigil Mass.

I had forgotten I had the Mass said, for my Mother in Law, so when the lector mentioned her name before Mass, our hearts skipped a beat. Needless to say remembering her made leading our parish family in song a bit more challenging as we choked back our tears.

Needless to say, emotions welled up Sunday evening, and my daughter came over for hugs and to share her missing everyone who had passed from our lives. It was such a beautiful coming together, and a moment in time, I will always praise the Lord for.

A few hours later, my precious daughter sent me this song she came across tonight called “Butterfly” By Lily Meola

This song is so poignant to all of us, who have stood on Holy Ground and held our loved ones hands as they passed on.

Remember the Joy!

And Thank God!

Remember the Love!

And let the Lord fill your heart!

Enjoy every moment, and you will be to full of life to notice the time at all.
