At My Weakest I find my Strength

Resilience does not come from being successful 24/7. In fact it does not come from being successful 50% or even 25% of the time. Resilience comes from persevering inspite of the hurdles on needs to get over.

Until we realize live is not a bed of roses, but a series of ebbs and flows, we will be in a negative space in our lives.

My Dad would remind my siblings to roll with the punches, pick your battles wisely, and let go hand over to God take the battles that are not yours to tackle.

Neither my Dad nor my Mom, ever gave up on any one, but as all you the chose to help had their own choices to make, they would always be willing to help, but would allow them to make their decisions to choose their path in life. Had allow them to live, but distance themselves if their choices could affect their path back to the Lord, but never gave up on them, lifting them up in reverent prayer.

I call this a quiet rebellion for souls. A spiritual battle that believers in our Almighty God know moves the hardest of hearts. Its in the internal conviction of a believers soul that our biggest battles are fought. Very rarely can one be successful in engaging in a a verbal battle with one who is in deep pain. On our knees with heads bowed and arms stretched toward our One and Only Creator of the Universe can we ever hope to be an instrument of the Lord’s Peace for it us their we find direction. It is there we learn to be aware and observant to when and where to physically help others.

Life is not a tangible thing we can attain. Life is a gift. It is an experience. A journey to becoming the best version of ourselves. It is why we need to learn how to be present in the ups and downs of life for in every moment there is a lesson and strengthening of one’s very soul. Truly, at my weakest, I find my strength.
