Our Family is the Anchor that fuels My Soul

Have you ever just stopped in the middle of the day to look around and observe what it is that you are in the midst of?

Since the move to try and sequester all human kind, I have done this experiment many times.

Sometimes, I was very organized, decisive and getting things done. Other times I was on my last leg and feeling I was on the perverbial merry go round of doing. I was not living, I was not in the present moment at all.

These observations reminded me of something my late husband said to our rudest daughter about wanting to live not just be alive.

The statement has been my saving grace as we move forward through the lies and deception of how this chaos came to be.

I found the gift God gave us through our love for one another is our family is the anchor that fuels my soul.
