It is true!
Yet, we are pulled in every direction,
except the one direction
that leads us to where we might be able to just sit and contemplate
the impact this tiny babe has had on so many people.
The magnitude of the Sacrifice and Love that He, literally, poured out onto this world takes my breath away.
I cannot even wrap my head around the fact my great grandparents and grandparents,
from both my Mom and my Dad’s sides of their families, as well as my parent’s themselves, went through many earth-shattering trials and tribulations and still managed to pass on their steadfast Faith that was given at the moment of this tiny babe’s birth.
Collectively, their Testimony of Faith was a patchwork of torn and tattered, life experiences that were mended and bound together with the sturdiest of thread.
Every triumph and failing was sewn back together with
all their joys,
including much sorrows.
All of which stood the test of time, while they taught us to Trust in the Life of our Messiah, who was born on one cold lonely winter night in Bethlehem.
Did you know a babe in a manger indeed became the Messiah of this World?
Through my loved ones, I was given this knowledge and guided by their examples,
understanding this little babe grew up to be our Messiah.
There is one inspiring young lady, who through her trials and tribulations in her young life, turned her gift back in to the Lord and found her gift would better be suited to offer it up for the Lord, and she was blessed to be able to compose music and lyrics
befitting for this King of the world.

and this is why I chose to cover her song today!
This is 37th anniversary of my first born baby girl’s birth.
One of the brightest highlights of my life.
